It's a Girl!!!

We are now 21 weeks along! The first ultrasound was October 21st, and we received a new due date: March 20th - I am hoping for an Easter baby! I have had a super pregnancy so far. A little tired, yes, a little moody, maybe :) but nothing to really complain about. Hopefully the next 20 weeks will be just as smooth.

We have spent the last couple of weeks announcing our good news to friends and family. Of course everyone is excited and claims they "knew" before we told them. It is fun to hear stories of other people's experiences (even the bad ones) - we just can't wait to have our own stories soon.

I was certain that I did not want to know the sex and Keith was sure that he did. We had the nurse write it down and put it in an envelope. After it was written down, Keith thought maybe we should wait, and I was DYING to find out! We went to lunch after the ultrasound - I made Keith peek at the paper and then he shared the news with me. . . It's a girl! We obviously have no preference, but it is fun to say "she" instead of "it" now. I thought we should keep it to ourselves, and lasted about 4 hours before I had to tell my mom - it is just too exciting to keep inside.

I attached the picures from the ultrasound. We will have another one in 2 months to make sure the baby is growing properly. But we know there are 2 kidneys and 1 head and all of the other important parts!
