I can't believe we are only about 10 weeks from our due date! It has changed a couple of times over the past few months - but we are going with "Mid-March" officially now.
We had our 2nd and final ultrasound the day after Christmas. Everything looked healthy and the baby was growing exactly like she should be, which was great news. The nurse, and one of my Dr. friends who looked at the ultrasound, both stated - "She has big feet." So that will be interesting! Maybe she will be tall. I might be one of those moms with the kids that kind of tower over her :)
We started our "Lamase" classes last Thursday. Wow is that an earfull! I truly am a believer in "ignorance is bliss" now! We will have a tour of the hospital and also are signed up for Breastfeeding and Infant CPR Classes. February will be busy - there are 2 weeks we have classes 3 nights a week! I am really excited about the Breastfeeding and Infant CPR classes - as long there are no birthing videos to help "desensitize us" I am good to go!
As I write this Keith is finishing up painting in the baby's room. We still call it the office, but will soon be out of that habit hopefully. I am excited to get the crib up and start collecting things the baby will need. So far we have more stuffed animals than diapers - I guess we will have to start thinking more practically soon.
I tried to put up a new ultrasound picture - we have a great profile (she looks like me :) but for some reason my scanner isn't cooperating. And honestly, I am not too sure there are hundreds of people out there on the edge of their seats waiting for a new shot of "Baby Placek" !!!
Please continue to keep us and especially the baby in your prayers as we count down over the next few weeks.
