It is hard to believe it has been three weeks since our little squeaker came into the world! She is weighing in now at 7lbs 6 ounces. We have had so many visitors and even a few adventures outside of the house! Grandma Wassinger came to visit and we went for our first walk. Unfortunately Grandma and I didn't time it very well and all Evelyn wanted to do was eat - not walk. So we did 1 trip around the block and headed back home. Today is beautiful - so we are going to try walk #2 here shortly.

We went to the Dr. multiple times for weight and jaundis checks. Luckily that is all in the past and she is gaining weight like crazy - not surprising considering she eats every 2 hours :) Keith and I are going to start easing in bottles so hopefully he will be able to help with feeding her here and there. When I start back to work it will be nice to take turns getting up with her.

For those that are concerned, Gunner has adjusted amazingly well. Just this morning Evelyn was in her swing and I was catching up on some school work and emails. Ev started fussing and Gunner was standing right by her, whining and looking at her. Like, "someone do something - quick!" It is nice to know that she has a little buddy looking out for her. He also brings his toys to her every once in a while. I wish I could explain to him that it is going to be a while before she can throw it. Oh, and whenever Ev is eating or cuddling with me, Gunner is right there on the couch making sure he gets equal cuddles and attention. There is nothing like being buried in a pile of sleeping babies and puppies :)
