It's all so new. . .

Well this has been a very big week for the newest Placek family. Ev started daycare and mommy (Kristine) started her new job. Alot of adjustments for everyone, but things seem to be "so far so good". Of course dropping her off at daycare is hard - and trying not to race back to the daycare is even harder - but I believe she is in good hands and know that this is much harder on me than it is on her.

She also had her first round of vaccinations. Not too pretty. Actually it wasn't that bad initially, but she was pretty grouchy for a few days afterwards. Here are some pics of her BEFORE the shots. So happy :) She also discovered herself in the mirror, so that has been a new game we play everytime we change diapers.

I have had time to compare some pictures of Baby Ev with her mom and pop. See any resemblance? I think she looks just like Keith - but that is probably because they are both so cute :)

This is Kristine a little less than a month old - I am not sure how old Keith is here - but I am guessing 3 months.

On a totally different note - we are thinking about starting to finish our basement. If you like to work hard for free and are mildly skilled at home improvement - give us a call!
