CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Wow! I could never imagined how hectic Christmas would be with the new edition to our family. We always thought hauling Gunner around was alot of work. . .

Being only an hour away from each of our hometowns we managed to spend some time with both of our families over Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve evening in Plattsmouth and Christmas Day in Wilber. The driving was exhausting and Evelyn was not able to take regular naps with all of the excitement. But it was worth it to spend time with Evelyn's Uncle Andrew who was in from Ohio and all of her cousins in Wilber, especially Brissa who was home on leave from the Navy.

Keith was even able to spend some time hunting (no luck) and I went to a movie (my favorite). We have been taking this week easy as Keith is off from the University until the 5th and I have a very flexible schedule this time of year.

Evelyn is moving around constantly now and keeping us on our toes. She still loves to play 'chase me' and turns around to make sure you are following her down the hall. The Wassinger's took the liberty of teaching her to do stairs, which is pretty exciting - although it scares us both to watch her. She still isn't too into baby food or solids. She does like the baby biscuits and crackers - but not for more than a few minutes. I fear she will eat from a bottle forever! As she is nearing 1 year we really need to be making this transition. (or so i hear)
