Not Evelyn this time - but her Grandma Ruth completed her 9th marathon and 2nd Boston marathon. With a 10 mile hour head wind and bitter cold against her - she conquered all and finished with a smile on her face! If you didn't know - only 10% of people will ever run a marathon and of that 10% only 1% will be good enough to qualify for Boston. So, once again, my mom amazes me with her drive and willingness to push herself in order to accomplish something that most people are not able to do - Way to Go Mom!
Wow, I didn't know you mom was in Boston, I just left to head back to Western Mass the morning of the Marathon. Congrats to her for finishing!
