Summer's Heeee-eere!

Even though we had the brilliant idea of enrolling Evelyn in swim lessons at the Y to get used to the water - she still is a little shy about the whole idea of swimming. Luckily she now willingly wears a swimsuit and enjoys many outdoor activities like riding her trike, filling up the pool, playing in the sandbox and playing fetch with Gunner :)

Here, Evelyn is enjoying our first day in the sun! She really cooperates when it comes to putting on sunscreen (100 SPF!) I just tell her it is 'Mommy's lotion' and she is all over it! She also like to play every toddlers favorite game - Pretend to brush your teeth..... haha! In the last month or two she has gotten very good at blowing bubbles - but not so good at keeping the bottle upright. So after about 3 bottles were dumped - she now gets to fill the bottles with water and just play - which seems to be alright with her! I am not too sad about this because bubbles are messy - so we are just saving those for Grandma's house!!! (click picture to enlarge)
